At the time, the podcast landscape was a bit less crowded and they felt there was a need for their three voices to be heard by not only fervent Miami Hurricanes fans, but also by the coaching staff and players. So, they congregated in a studio one day at start of the 2018 season and hit the record button. Upon finishing that inaugural episode one of them didn’t want to drop the episode (try to take a guess!!)…some nonsense about ‘audio quality’ not being up to their standard. After furious debate, Episode #1: We went to Jerry’s World to play LSU dropped and immediately went viral throughout Miami Hurricanes message boards.

Moving forward, their dominance of the Miami Hurricanes Podcast landscape has never been questioned. They say ‘imitation is the best form of flattery’…consider them flattered. That said, Miami Hurricanes fans know there is only ONE OG Canes Podcast and that is The Orange Bowl Boys!
